I had the pleasure of photographing Stephanie’s senior pictures last Saturday. It was a cool, windy morning but the sun was shining. Stephanie walked all over with her high heels on – sitting on rocks, benches, tall grass – all while not missing a step! The wind kept whipping her hair every which way but the photos only show the natural wind swept look. Best of luck next year Stephanie – majoring in interior design.

I got to photograph Aaron last Saturday after we got rained out last Wednesday (imagine that this spring ha). We had fun walking around their property exploring the downed trees, cool brick textures of the house, their gorgous HUGE oak trees, and the neighbors antique barn. Glad we got the session in Aaron!!!

And then I played with this one to make it an intense, grungy, urban texture. Looks like a rock star.

Thanks Aaron!

We had to work around Heather’s soccer schedule to fit this session in. It was scheduled for 9:00 Saturday morning but when her soccer game got rescheduled we had to make the session later in the day. Heather scored the winning goal in the game and then rushed to get ready for pictures. Gorgeous girl+Gorgeous day+Gorgeous location=knockout pictures. Hope you love your senior portraits Heather!

This is the second senior from this family that I had the opportunity to photograph. Although the girls are a year apart they are very different. Kelly LOVES irish dancing – teaching dance and travels to Europe for demonstrations and competition. Although I didn’t get to photograph her in any dance outfits we had fun at the session with gorgeous weather (after getting rained out the week before) with the flowers and trees blooming. Thanks Kelly and I hope you LOVE your senior portraits!

I had the chance to photograph 2 brothers last one – Mike for his senior pictures and Tommy is going to be a senior at Michigan State next year. We started in the back yard, went to the common area of the subdivision, and then got to explore an abandoned barn up the road from them. It was a lot of fun. Best of luck next year – Mike at Elmhurst and good luck on you internship this summer Tommy and for your senior year!

And then I got some of the 2 brothers together

I had the opportunity to photography Dan for his senior pictures. All the weather looked like rain it held off for the session. With Dan’s easy smile and willingness to pose where ever, it was a fun session. We just wandered about their property and explored the porches, fences, barns, and grassy areas. Thanks Dan!

And although we didn’t get the pony in any pictures, we did get the dogs.

I had the pleasure of photographing Kailey for her senior pictures last week. She is a sweet, bubbly, happy-go-lucky young lady that wanted to incorporate her Cub hat to make her Dad (the biggest fan of the family) happy. I’m sure your parents are very proud of you Kailey and I hope you like your pictures!!

I decided to do a vintage treatment on this picture with the gorgeous magnolia flower.

Prom was last Friday and was a great success! The girls looked beautiful in their long dresses and the boys looked oh so handsome in their tuxedos. The prom was held at the banquet hall Stonegate from 6-11 and then the kids boarded coach buses to be transported to Chicago to board the Spirit of Chicago to cruise the Chi-town skyway till 3:00 a.m. They then boarded buses to transport them back to the high school where they drove home exhausted but with lots of memories! Here are some pictures set to a video of Sabrina and her friends. The music is a song Ben wrote for Sabrina for Valentine’s Day. Hope you enjoy it!
