Future teacher

Published by Jan under senior

This was a fun senior shoot held at the local bed & breakfast grounds of the Muirhead Farmhouse. To find out more about this Frank Lloyd Wright designed bed & breakfast inn click HERE. They weather was a typical summer Chicago day – WINDY!!! With 50 mph winds by the end of the session Casey’s mom & I looked like frazzed-wind blown ragamuffins but Casey’s hair didn’t move AT ALL!!! (helps that it was so short and had lots of gel ha!). Casey is going to be attending Palm Beach Atlantic and study elementary education. He hopes to teach 4th or 5th grade. Good luck Casey!

Adorable 1 year old

Published by Jan under family

It has been 6 months since I last photographed Jacob. He has gotten sooo big since I did his Christmas pictures back in December (I know – they do that). This session was at Cantigny Gardens in Wheaton. It has been such a long time that I have been there. I have forgotten how beautiful the gardens and grounds are. Truly a photographer’s (and gardener’s) haven. We had a lot of fun just wandering about. Jacob is not quite walking yet, and didn’t like crawling in the grass either. He had gotten his one-year old vaccinations this week so he wasn’t his usual bubbly self – but I think we managed to coax quite a few smiles. Hope you like them Mike & Michelle!

3 Generations – Loving Family

Published by Jan under family

I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family recently in their backyard in historic Wheaton. The grandsons were the apple of Grandpa’s eye and they loved him. They were typical 3 & 4 year old boys – plenty of energy and giggles! Thank you Jen – you have a great family!
