Published by Jan under Uncategorized

Jared’s session was held at Muirhead’s Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast.  With all the rainy weather we are having this spring, we were lucky to get the session in! We had a lot of fun just wondering around the grounds and Jared was such the trouper and up for anything!  He is planning on attending Bethel college in Indiana next year.  Here is some information to get to know Jared better!

3 things people would be surprised to learn about you

I enjoy cooking shows

I would like to learn to play piano

my nose has been broken.
3 things you couldn’t live without

Food

Family

Friends

Fav movie or book

Dumb and Dumber

I have NEVER…

Hang-glided

3 pet peeves

Being woken up from a nap

when someone tells me I cannot do something

nagging mothers

3 foods for a year, what would they be?

chicken

mom’s cookies

beef
If you won the lottery, what would you buy first?

my house

If you could ask one person (dead or alive) 1 question – who would you ask and what would you ask them?

Michael Jordan – what did you do to win?

If I had 24 hours to live, I would

Go crazy and do everything I could with everyone possible

What are your after graduation plans (college & major, work, etc.)

And then a couple “would your rather” just becasue they are fun!

My 1st Cover!

Published by Jan under senior

I was very excited and honored to be asked to photograph Jeff Nesseth, one of the most well-liked teacher at Burlington Central High School!  He has been the  choral director at the school for 15 years and was selected as the cover story at the national choral directors magazine .  It was a fun hour of photography him in the classroom environment with his class of students.  He has taken his choral groups all over the world including – Ireland, England, Scotland, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Switzerland & Italy with an audience of the POPE at the Vatican!

He likes to start the class period off with the kids all rising to their feet in a congo-line and giving back massages to relieve built up tension and just over all loosen up and laugh before warm-ups begin.

Here are some of my favorites from my time spent in the classroom.

Loved the mural on the wall that one of the talented students painted!

Congratulations Jeff!  The recognition is well deserved!  As a Burlington Central High parent we are very proud of you!

Aaron’s session was last fall at his relatives gorgeous property in rural Elgin.  Aaron has such a genuine, natural smile it was hard to get him to give me a serious face.  He is planning on studying heating and air conditioning (HVAC) at Elgin Community College next fall.  Best of luck Aaron!
