Next up is Lindsay! Lindsay’s session was held on a gorgeous day in St. Charles at Mount Saint Mary Park and the surrounding area including the The Jalapeño Grille restaurant. Her mom brought along the red jacket and it was absolute PERFECT! Here are some of Lindsay’s favorite images!

Jason ’15 Burlington Central High School

Published by Jan under senior

Jason’s session was held on his property in rural Maple Park. Gorgeous fall colors, lots of different areas to shoot in – including down by a creek that runs in the back of their property! Beautiful, rustic backgrounds! So glad he brought his marching band uniform for his senior pictures!  Here is a little trivia about Jason:

3 things people would be surprised to learn about you ….

that I’m actually dedicated despite my apparent laziness.
3 things you couldn’t live without

- food,

- sleep,

- and video games
Fav movie or book

Ender’s Game (the book)
I have NEVER…

gone a day without injuring myself in some way (stubbed toe, bumped elbow, bumped head, paper cuts, etc.)
3 pet peeves ….

- when people don’t use the Oxford comma
- ….could of rather than could have
- …..like, I can’t like think of like anything else (the word like for anything other than its intended use).
3 foods for a year, what would they be?

- Pizza,

- baby back ribs,

- mom’s chili
If you won the lottery, what would you buy first?

1950′s Chevy Bel Air (powder blue)

If you could ask one person (dead or alive) 1 question – who would you ask and what would you ask them?

would ask Nikola Tesla about his theory of 4th dimension electricity.
If I had 24 hours to live, I would…

play video games and eat pizza.
Fav class or teacher in HS. Why?

German (all 4 years) Why – because I just get it.
What are your after graduation plans? (college & major, work etc.)

Beloit College, Beloit Wisconsin, physics
And then a couple “would your rather” just because they are fun!

Would you rather

X never watch TV again

never use the internet again
Would you rather

always lose

X never play
Would you rather

X get caught singing in the car

get caught with your fly unzipped
Would you rather

always know the future

X be able to read everyone’s mind

And some of his favorite images!

Mia ’15 – Burlington Central High School

Published by Jan under senior

2014-12-01_0001.jpg

Mia’s session was held on a GORGEOUS fall day at a friend of the family’s property in rural Maple Park.  It was absolutely beautiful!  The colors, the landscape, the model, even the dog!  Everything just came together wonderfully for Mia’s session.  Here is some trivia about Mia:

3 things people would be surprised to learn about you

- I really like gory movies/T.v. shows like the Walking Dead.
- My favorite color is army green
- Cliff jumping in Arkansas is something I look forward to every summer
3 things you couldn’t live without

- Traveling!
- a watch
- chapstick
Fav movie or book

It changes all the time, but my first love was the Little House on The Prairie series

Right now I looove Into The Wild by Jon Krakuer. That book speaks to my somewhat hidden sense of adventure.

I have NEVER…

- Gone on Raging Bull at Six Flags.

- Seen the Notebook

- kept my room clean for more than 1 week
3 pet peeves

- When people don’t open their blinds and choose instead to live in a cave (including my family)
- Being able to hear peoples music through their headphones
- When people scrape their knives across the bottom of the plates (kind of like nails on a chalk board)
3 foods for a year, what would they be?

There is only one. Sandwiches. You can make ANYTHING into a sandwich.
If you won the lottery, what would you buy first?

Definitely an entire new wardrobe
If you could ask one person (dead or alive) 1 question – who would you ask and what would you ask them?

I would ask whoever invented the dishwasher why they couldn’t have invented something to clear the plates from the table also.
If I had 24 hours to live, I would…

Well I can’t lie, I would probably be freaking out the first couple of hours. If I could regain my composure I would just want to spend time with my family.
Fav class or teacher in HS. Why?

Any type of English/Literature class. First because writing papers and class discussions and analyzing poetry isn’t about having a specific skill or following steps to find an answer. Its about how deep of a thinker you are and how much passion you have about the world around you.
What are your after graduation plans? (college & major, work etc.)

I don’t have any college specifically in mind yet, probably somewhere in the Midwest, and I want to study architecture.
