Three children under 2 is HARD!!! But I think I got a few goods ones of the cousins together and a LOT of cute individual ones!

And since Easter is right around the corner we decided to use the EASTER BUNNY aka Mr. Fluffles in some pictures!

Chase wasn’t too interested in the bunny, but…we decided to get him out of his clothes and boy did we get the smiles then!!!

And then a cute one with the Easter chicks!

I had the opportunity to photography these adorable little girls right after Christmas. They were dressed in very colorful matching tutus - CUTE! CUTE! CUTE! Of course, being 2 and 4 years old there is much more important things to do than get your pictures taken so I had a busy morning playing GRINCH with Miss C and Miss E but I think i managed to get some good shots!

Then we headed outdoors for more pictures. Can you say more color!!! It was COLD but the girls did great!

Thanks Michelle – I hope you like your pictures!

Brennan and his parents came to my new studio in my home. He is so big for 1 year old!!! He was a very serious little guy but I managed to coax a few smiles!

And then we moved on to the cake. What kid doesn’t like cake???? If a picture paints a 1000 words I’m sure you could guess what a few of them would be!!

Happy Birthday Brennan!!

I just wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone and share our Christmas card. It was printed as a 5×5 tri-fold (so it has 6 sides)

Have I said lately how much I LOVE my job? I think this shoot is one reason why. I don’t have the opportunity to photograph toddlers very often but when I do, I LOVE it! Jacob is a returning client (newborn, 6 mo., year, 18 mo.). His mom wanted a Christmas card picture and we got plenty! We started on his favorite rocking horse – check out his awesome PJ’s!

Then we bribed him with candy

Then we bundled him up and went outside in the 16 degree weather brrrr

I thought it was all going to be over when he toppled in the snow

But he brushed himself off and had a great time outside!

And here is the card I designed for them (shhh don’t tell anyone – they haven’t been delivered yet!)

Merry Christmas and thank you for the wonderful session!

Just catching up on my blogging when I realized I didn’t blog this session!!! I had done Kassi’s senior pictures earlier in year and they wanted a family session done with the dogs for Christmas. The session was in their yard and the weather was great (contrary to what the forecast called for) I loved their outfits – color-coordinated and casual!

What teen girl is not always on her cell???

And I hope its ok to post your card since you have them all mailed and delivered already!!!!

I had the opportunity to photograph these 3 sisters and their families in celebration of their parents 50th wedding anniversary. The session was held in Mt. Saint Mary park in St. Charles. The children had the most fun at the end of the session when they got to explore and dip their feet in the pond! Amy, Laura, & LeighAnn – I hope your folks LOVE the pictures and thank you for the honor of photographing your family. 50 years is indeed reason for celebration. Congratulations to your parents!

I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t had time to blog! So this is NOT a sneak peek of the “S” family portraits but I liked them so well I had to share! This session was on the campus of Judson University where Kimberly teaches. It was one of the hottest days so far of the summer but everyone toughed it out. I got to photograph the entire family, sisters together, and then some of Jess for her senior pictures. What a gorgeous family! Thank you for the opportunity to photograph the family before Jess leaves for school in fall for North Park. Good luck Jess!

It has been 6 months since I last photographed Jacob. He has gotten sooo big since I did his Christmas pictures back in December (I know – they do that). This session was at Cantigny Gardens in Wheaton. It has been such a long time that I have been there. I have forgotten how beautiful the gardens and grounds are. Truly a photographer’s (and gardener’s) haven. We had a lot of fun just wandering about. Jacob is not quite walking yet, and didn’t like crawling in the grass either. He had gotten his one-year old vaccinations this week so he wasn’t his usual bubbly self – but I think we managed to coax quite a few smiles. Hope you like them Mike & Michelle!
