Haley Clark ’12 – Burlington Central Senior

Haley’s session was held at Fabyan Forest Preserve in Batavia.  She picked this gorgeous location because she went there a LOT to take pictures when she was in AP Photography and loved the place.  It has beautiful grounds for a photo session!

Haley ’12 – Burlington Central High School Senior

Haley’s session was held at Muirhead Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast in rural Plato Center.  It was a blustry, windy day that ending up pouring rain by the end of her session!  But you would never guess from her images that the conditions were less than ideal!  Some trivia about Haley:

3 things you couldn’t live without:

-Mac’n cheese

- my best friend

- softball

Fav movie or book

My favorite movie is Cinderella Man

I have NEVER…

- gone skydiving, but I plan on it

- met anyone famous

- gone to Europe, but its another thing I plan on doing

3 pet peeves:

-people who bully

-being on time

- people who don’t know directions while driving

3 foods for a year, what would they be?

- Mac n cheese

- apples

If you won the lottery, what would you buy first?

a new car

My grandpa who I never met, I’d ask him everything and anything, since he passed before I was born

Mrs. Zagorski.  I had her for 3 different English classes and she has done the most to help me develop my skills as a writer and has done the best job preparing me for college.

What are your after graduation plans?

I will be going to Indiana State University and I ‘ll be playing softball there and studying elementary and special education.

Sarah ’12 – Burlington Central Senior

Sarah’s session was held at Runde’s Landscapping on Route 47 in rural Plato Center.  It is a gorgous location for senior pictures – the grounds are beautifully landscaped and so many different areas to shoot at!  It was a windy day but Sarah managed to look beautiful despite the blowing wind.  Her eyes are an amazing blue color and her freckles are to die for!  Don’t you agree?

Here’s some interesting trivia about Sarah:

3 things people would be surprised to learn about you:

- I have a fear of needles

- I sing in the shower ALL the time

- I will never get a tattoo

3 things you couldn’t live without:

= my family

- my friends

-people that are fake

- chomping on gum

Emily ’12 – Burlington Central Senior

Emily’s session was held at Sun City in Huntley.  Emily brought along several great outfits and it was a fun session as we wandered about the beautiful grounds with her mom just talking and laughing and getting to know each other!  She has such a natural smile and GORGEOUS hair (I’ve got serious hair envy Emily!)  Here’s some interesting trivia about Emily:

3 things people would be surprised to learn about you:

- I have traveled to the United Kingdom

- On June 6th of 2011 I had a spinal fusion surgery

- I I’ve had a passion for art since I was 6 years old and it all my mom’s fault (in a good way!)

3 things you couldn’t live without:

- I can’t live without my family & friends

- the ability for individuals to have a strong education

- a great imagination

Fav movie or book

I’ve just read “The Hunger Games” I’m addicted.  It was THAT good!

I have NEVER…

seen the Titanic from start to finish

3 pet peeves:

- I get “peeved” when people chew with their mouth open

- interrupt conversations to talk about themselves

- waiting in lines

3 foods for a year, what would they be?

- Candy Canes, Candy Corn & Syrup!  No, I’m just kidding.  They’d have to be:

- Garlic Hummus

- my mom’s chicken avgolemono soup

- Oreo truffles i.e. the heavenly Oreo “balls”

If you won the lottery, what would you buy first?

I’d buy myself a hedgehog.  I have an “unhealthy” obsession with the little cute creatures!

If I had 24 hours to live, I would…

I’d spend every hour with my friends and family.  I wouldn’t waste a single moment.

Fav class or teacher in HS. Why?

Mr. Semmen, from Burlington Central High School.  He’s very inspiring and has a lasting teaching method that actually keeps me interested in class.

What are your after graduation plans?

I got into UW-Madison, and will be going there this fall.  I want to take the pre-med route, most likely majoring in bio/genetics or psychology.  This said, I’d love to be a pediatric psychiatrist when I “grow up”

Megan ’12 – St. Charles North Senior

Don’t you just LOVE her PEACE earings & necklace.  Just makes me want to smile.  I’ve known Megan for quite a few years having served along side of her in the nursery at church.  She has a true servants heart and it was an honor when her mom asked me to take her senior pictures.  We started at Pottawatomie Park in St. Charles and then moved to their beautiful back yard in South Elgin (her mom is a professional landscape designer).  Here is some trivia about Megan:

- I am a violinist

- I have four cats & a one-eyed goldfish

- iTouch

Kailey ’12 Burlington Central Senior

Meet Kailey – she is a track/cross country runner at Burlington Central High School.  I am in such awe of anyone that runs cross-country – I wish I was a runner!  Kailey’s session was held at Muirhead’s Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast and then we went out back to the forest preserve land.  It was gorgeous as you can see from her pictures!  Here is some info to get to know Kailey better:

- I’m deaf

New Product – iGallery

Seems like everyone has a smartphone these days and what better way to share your senior images from Jan Nohling Photography than with my new product – the iGallery!  These are not for sale but are a complimentary item with the purchase of a print collection.  It is like an app on your phone to show everyone your senior portraits.  How cool is that!

Emily | ’12 Senior | Burlington Central Photographer

Emily’s session was held on a chilly fall morning at Runde’s Landscaping.  A gorgeous location for a gorgeous girl!  You would never know from the images that there was frost on the ground and we could see our breaths.  But Emily was a trooper and enjoyed the entire session.  Here are some interesting tidbits of information from Emily

Lauren ’12 | South Elgin Photographer

Meet Lauren – she is a ’12 senior at South Elgin High School.  Doesn’t she have the sweetest smile???  Her session was held at Mount St. Mary Park in St. Charles. Some interesting trivia about her:

If I won the lottery, I would pay for my college tution first and then I would buy everyone in my house a new car.

The first thing I would do is get a tattoo.  After that, I think I would just enjoy my day hanging out with my friends and family

Fav class or teacher in HS.  Why?

My favorite class in high school is probably my 2 biology classes.  I am taking one now and I took one freshman year.  Both of those teachers mad the class enjoyable and I never dread going there.

What are your after graduation plans?

I plan to go to a four year university and major in physical therapy.  After that I will go to a graduate school to get my masters.
